Scala Arts & Heritage Publishers, and our American sister company Scala Arts Publishers, Inc., specialise in producing books for museums, galleries, libraries, heritage organisations, cathedrals and other religious sites. With offices in London and New York, we work with many of the most prestigious institutions in the world.

Established over thirty years ago, Scala has a reputation for providing a service that is as high-quality as its products. We offer all aspects of the publishing process and work closely with each institution, tailoring our service to their individual needs, creating books with the highest design and production values for sale on-site to visitors and worldwide as part of our list.

This year’s highlights include the publication of Robots, the catalogue accompanying the Science Museum’s blockbuster exhibition in London, as well as our new series of titles based on groundbreaking lectures – Lectures for The Wolfson Foundation’s 60th Anniversary and Sir Geoffrey Nice QC’s Justice for All (pp. 28–29 of the Scala Catalogue). We also have a flourishing list of cathedral and library titles, an exciting forthcoming list of e-books, and our ever popular Director’s Choice series will soon include over thirty-five titles from fourteen different countries.

Scala is continuing to grow, and over the next year we are looking forward to bringing the treasures from exciting institutions in the US, Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Middle East to a wider global audience.

Just thought I’d let you know that our director has just lavished praise on the new guidebook, saying it was fantastically designed (a big compliment coming from someone as passionate about design as he is), represents exactly what we’re all about and is the best branded item we have (or words to that effect); so thanks again!

Thanks for the two advance copies. I have to say, despite my jaded eye, that this (unexpectedly) slim book is very attractive, and I think that most of the illustrations are really good. The layout and font etc too. Let's hope it sells well. Brava, Scala!
